JANUARY 2012: Near miss for sledder Olly

Olly Biddulph (2007-11; Walton)  left the recent Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, empty-handed but came within a whisker of a medal in the two-man bobsleigh with brake man James Lelliot, finishing fifth - just one-tenth-of-a-second outside of the medal positions and 0.27s from a gold medal.

Olly stayed on to compete in the World Junior Championships in Igls (Austria), where he finished 16th with brake man Joel Fearon.
