Flora and Vicky riding high
On 11th July Flora Harris (Kernick; 2002-06), riding Jane Keir’s Law Choice, won the 2010 Express Eventing title at the Festival of the Horse at Stoneleigh Showground. She secured the title, and prize money of £5,000, with an a clear final round which included the the 1.35m eraser fence.
Although Flora finished her Millfield career in 2006 she has kept a close association with Millfield Riding and came to Millfield for a last minute training session last week, watched by many of our aspiring young riders.
Flora has already qualified Law Choice for the Badminton Horse Trials 2011 - the first Millfield pupil to achieve this level of excellence.
Vicky White (Day; 1998-2003) competed at Royal Cornwall in June and won in the Horse Workers class with Kelsterton Merlin. They will be going to Hickstead and competing in both the horse and pony workers classes.
