Interested in Playing or organising Sporting Teams?

We have Old Millfieldian teams playing in a variety of sports and these are supported by the Society. If you're interested in playing or being part of any of this, please get directly in touch with the OMs listed below. Furthermore, if you'd like us to consider supporting an activity that's not named, please contact John Davies at the Society Office.

Cricket There is a national Old Boys Cricket Competition and we have numerous excellent cricketers who could form a competitive team. However, we need someone to run and coordinate this!

Golf Gavin Bradbury (1981-83; Kingweston - gavinbradbury@aol.com) runs our Grafton Morrish Men's Team and Margaret Hawker (former tutor - margaret.hawker@tesco.net ) our Silver Tassie Ladies' one, both playing in national independent schools' knock-out competitions. OMS runs popular golf days and, if you'd like to receive details and are not on our 'golf list', kindly advise us.

Rugby Alan Burns (a former Millfield parent - millfield.academy@virgin.net) directs an ambitious Millfield Old Boys' RFC league and sevens programme, involving OMs with all levels of rugby ability, including 'veterans', and competitions overseas too.

Soccer Jaimie Cork (2000-02; Georgian Cottage - corkuk@hotmail.com ) is in charge of our newly established Team which plays in a local London League. He is hoping to extend this to 2 Teams.

Squash Steve Illingworth (1978-80; Chindit - stephen.illingworth@blueyonder.co.uk) captains our Londonderry Cup Squad in a national knock-out competition, reaching the Final in its first year.

Tennis Like cricket, there is a national competition and we should be able to produce a useful team. But we need an organiser - ?
