He has spent most of his working life in horse racing, first with Weatherbys’, and for many years with the International Racing Bureau. Since the early nineties he has run a postal quiz called Great Brain Quiz, still plays tennis frequently as a member of the All England Club, and struggles to play golf off a handicap of seven!
Ian Martin
1963-1964 Kingweston
Having worked on farms in various countries, he became farming general manager for Brooke Bond Liebigs in Paraguay, with large-scale beef, dairy and cropping activities. In 1997 he retired to Uruguay where he fishes and produces vegetables and ducks.
