Nicholas retired in 2009, having practised as a Chartered Accountant for over 40 years in Bath, being Senior Partner at the Bath office of Moore Stephens from 1973 to 2004. He is married with 2 children and 5 grandsons, and is well occupied with a little professional work, charities, playing golf and travelling.
