Having fought our way through the preliminary rounds, by the final we were ready for anything that Rosslyn Park could throw at us. With only nine fit men it was going to be very testing, and although we had pace in the side it was not in abundance; above all we had to meet the physical challenge of our opponents. Our boys never took a backward step but by sheer determination and the will to win overcame a dreadful start and ultimately claimed a richly deserved victory.
