Cronk-Cunis Under-21 Tournament 31st August
The endeavour and ambition of this group, harnessed by Rod Speed, made a great success of this year’s tournament. We reached our second ever final, scoring 71 points with 34 against in the early rounds, but were subsequently beaten 27-0 by an excellent St. Benedict’s team. With such a small squad some boys played every minute of the 150 played, and credit is especially due to Sam Forsey, Jack Cooper and Cameron Zeiss in the front row. Overall this was an excellent day and I do hope that in future years more Old Boys will be able to support the event.
The Squad: 2007 leavers – Freddie Chalke (Capt), Piers Glyn Davies, Rory Millar, Jack Pearce, George Hamblett, Sam Forsey, Will Pullen, Harry Theakston, Alex Nielsen, Christian Waite, and Hugo Seccombe. 2009 leavers – Jack Cooper, Cameron Zeiss, Alex Hunt, Oliver Stanley, Rob Hockedy, Joe Shimizu and Kit Sheppard.
