You are invited to join us at Newbury Racecourse for an afternoon of top class racing on Saturday 15th May. This is the highlight of Newbury's Flat racing season, featuring the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes, one of the best races for milers in the country.
At the racecourse, we have our own exclusive OMS Pavilion, situated in a wonderful position overlooking the Pre-Parade Ring. The Pavilions at Newbury Racecourse are exceptionally stylish and atmospheric and each one has its own garden area. You are in the centre of the action and you can sit and watch the horses being prepared for their races. A Day Premier Enclosure Badge, which gives you access to the Premier Enclosure, overlooking the Winning Post as well as the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure, is included in the price. Ample parking is available at the racecourse. The racecourse also has its own railway station with direct connections to London Paddington and the West.
The day starts at 12 noon, when you will be greeted with a glass of champagne, followed by a delicious Buffet Luncheon with Afternoon Tea served later in the day. The Pavilion has a cash bar, where wine, champagne, spirits and soft drinks will be available to purchase. There are also Tote Facilities, for those who want to have a bet. Our OM Guest Speaker, retired racehorse trainer Ian Balding (1957-59; Chindit), will run through the race card with you, prior to the start of racing, to help you find those elusive winners!
