It is again that time in the year for an informal reunion to catch up with old school friends and reminisce about the good old days.
After many successful London evenings at “Barts” and "Maggies" Duncan Stirling (1994-99; Etonhurst) has very kindly offered us once again the use of his "new" venture and we would like to thank him very much indeed for his generosity and hospitality.
His new venue “Bunga Bunga” (http://www.bungabunga-london.com) is the essential Englishman's Italian pizzeria and bar, available for a night of fun and mayhem at 37 Battersea Bridge Road, SW11 3BA. It is literally just over the Battersea Bridge and you can't miss it! The closest stations are Clapham Junction, from where a black cab will cost you roughly £10 or alternatively Sloane Square or South Kensington tube stations where you can catch a cab for around £6 to the venue.
Walk in and be greeted by the friendly staff (many of whom are stage school alumni and are not afraid to belt out on the karaoke!) who will lead you up to their private hire rooms on the first floor. Both of the private hire rooms are situated on the top floor and private access is gained to these rooms by means of a stunning staircase depicting images of the Sistine Chapel ceiling.
The second room is the "Eurovision Room," aptly named due to its quirky Eurovision Song Contest - themed decor and is where the OM event will take place.
We will have exclusive use of the Eurovision Room until 10pm (open for our use though until midnight) on Thursday 23rd February from 7pm and Duncan has very kindly offered us again a round of beers, cocktails and some nibbles to kick the evening off!
