Hosted by the OMS Committee, you will be able to enjoy the occasion in the company of your Millfield contemporaries and former tutors. There will be the opportunity to have a tour around the school, with a Millfield Quiz Quest for our younger visitors. This will be followed by a traditional afternoon tea, including a glass of Pimms. In true Millfield style, throughout the afternoon, you are most welcome to watch any of our scheduled sporting events.
In the evening we will be joined by Millfield Prep School Parents and Friends at a Champagne/Canapé Reception followed by a buffet-style carvery, which will include dessert, cheese & biscuits and coffee. There will be a cash bar running throughout the evening and we will round off the night with dancing and a “casino”. Please spread the word and encourage as many OMs as possible to join us.
A Special Message from Ceri Fiddes - Head of Mathematics
Maurice Godfrey (commonly and affectionately known as ‘God’) retires at the end of this academic year after 36 years at Millfield. We know that many of you will have fond memories of time spent in his mathematics classes and we would like to give you the opportunity to wish him well in his retirement. Before the dinner there will be a separate drinks reception and we will also be reserving a few tables at the dinner for Maurice’s ex-pupils. Please indicate on your reply if you would like to take part. We hope that as many of his former pupils as possible will join us to thank him for his dedicated and inspirational teaching over the years.
